Reef trip operators will provide stinger suits for complete protection while snorkeling.

How does your website handle personal information?
Port Douglas Accommodation Quick Tips
If catching the local bus don’t buy a return ticket or a weekly pass as they are only valid for the operator you buy it from. You may constantly be left waiting at the bus stop for the next bus. You might save a dollar but your holiday time is worth more than that.
Port Douglas has a taxi service operated by Sun Palm Transport. Sometimes the wait can be quite long though and the bus or your feet can often be a better option.
Book your tours and trips online on this website and receive discounts off the tour operators published tariff. We can also provide discount vouchers on many attractions so check with us before you go anywhere.
Check the Tides
For your reef trip try to pick a day when the low tide is in the middle of the day. This brings you closer to the reef and creates calmer conditions at your snorkel site.
For your croc spotting trip plan to be on the water on the low tide for a better chance of spotting these elusive reptiles.
Ask at The Mango Tree reception for details of the tides during your visit.
