The first weekend of Carnivale (18 – 20 May ) will be a food and wine festival with all the popular food events including Longest Lunch, Palates of Port, Food Wine and a Taste of Port and Seafood Extravaganza held over the one weekend. The second weekend (25- 26 May) will have the Street Parade (25 May ) and Beach Day (26 May). There will be lots of events during the week including the Exemplar Clipper Cup Regatta from 23rd to 27th to make 2012 Port Douglas Carnivale a fabulous experience for locals and visitors.

Our accommodation rates vary throughout the year depending on the season. We have a low season and a high season. The low season is current through to June 23rd 2012 and the next high season is from June 24th, 2012 through to October 7th, 2012. The low season then starts again from October 8th through to June 2013, with the exception of a few days either side of the Port Douglas Solar Eclispe in November.
Throughout the low seasons we offer a seven night special on our apartments and townhouses. This is usually our best rate and rewards stays of seven nights or more.
From time to time we offer many different specials all based on the length of stay, such as a 2 night special or a 4 night special. We even have a 3 week special for those wanting to stay that little bit longer.
These specials are very common when availability is tight and we are trying to fill a few gaps between bookings especially during busy times like school holidays, Christmas and Easter. We may also advertise these specials during the quieter times such as February and March.
In fact we may briefly advertise a limited number of our Port Douglas Accommodation SPECIALS at any time of the year and if you can see some current SPECIALS at the top of this page then don’t hesitate – they may be gone tomorrow!
